Our work is diverse, spanning land assembly and approvals, regional economic development projects, infrastructure development, social initiatives, and aboriginal economic development initiatives. Senior Advisor

Qualification: Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Planning, Community or Sustainable Development, Financial Planning, Economics OR equivalent discipline.

Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000 + super & bonus

Experience: 6-10+ years in similar field

Based: Perth or Karratha

Flexible 40 hour, 4-day work week

We are seeking a Senior Advisor with a wealth of experience and comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Native Title Act, regulations, and policies. In this pivotal role, you will advise clients, including Indigenous groups and Traditional Owners, on matters related to Native Title, cultural heritage, land rights, and resource development.

Your responsibilities will span developing negotiation strategies for clients, representing client interests in agreement-making processes with industry and government, and compiling and analysing data affecting land use. You will engage with a variety of stakeholders, from government authorities to planning, development, and environmental specialists, to ensure project requirements are fulfilled.

Your management skills will be key in coordinating project feasibility or approvals processes, tracking budgets, and guiding proposals through approvals processes. Furthermore, you'll contribute to the development of business cases for clients and offer support to senior staff members as required.

To be successful in this role, you should have a proven experience in land access, environmental or development approvals processes, preferably within Western Australia. Leadership skills are crucial, alongside a demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders effectively and professionally. Previous experience in regional Western Australia is highly desirable, as is a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, and excellent organisational and document management skills. A strong sense of integrity and accountability, and a commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards are essential in this role.

Advisor

We're seeking a competent Advisor with a strong grasp of relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and industry best practices. An understanding of land access, tenement management, and stakeholder engagement complexities will play a crucial role in your position. Excellent analytical and research skills are needed as you will compile and interpret data from diverse sources, and present findings in a digestible and concise manner.

The ideal candidate will showcase strong project management skills, adept at planning, prioritising, and delivering projects within strict timelines and budgets. A commitment to professional development is vital in this role, with a readiness to stay abreast with the latest advancements and trends in the field. We're seeking an individual who displays an ability to learn proactively and adaptively, exhibiting a willingness to tackle new challenges and learn from experiences.

Town Planner

Qualifications: Tertiary Degree in Urban and Regional Planning

Salary Range: $80,000-$110,000 + super & bonus

Experience: Regional experience highly regarded.

Based: Perth or Karratha
