Our Projects

Stayover Kingfisher Village Expansion - Karratha

Stayover by Ausco operates the Kingfisher Workforce Accommodation Village in the City of Karratha. RFF has secured and maintained the development approval from the Gascoyne/Kimberley/Pilbara JDAP, for expansion of the facility by a further 440 rooms.

Approval was initially secured in 2013, with extensions to the commencement period secured in 2015 and 2017 and with further applications being prepared in 2019.

Despite the volatile and restrictive planning framework applicable to Workforce Accommodation in the Pilbara, RFF has worked collaboratively with our client and the Local Government to maintain support for the expansion.
