YOUTH INVOLVEMENT
COUNCIL HQ
CLIENT: Youth Involvement Council, BHP, Lottery West, Pilbara Development Commission
RFF was responsible for project feasibility, project definition, planning, business case and funding, detailed design, contractor procurement, construction management (superintendent), and defects liability of the entire project.
The final development included a two-storey building incorporating professional working space for YIC and other non-for-profits, asignificant commercial kitchen capable of being used by the broader community, a meeting and conference space, an early childhood learning centre, a gym and a major outdoor landscape and civil package around the building.
Our Involvement
Initial stakeholder consultation to establish the need and articulate the aims of the project
Business Case Preparation;
Completion and submission of funding applications to industry and government bodies
Scope development and definition
Preparation of architectural design brief
Procurement of architectural consultant and all sub consultants required to complete detailed design documentation
Quality Assurance of design outcomes to ensure project scope is achieved
Engagement with Local and State Legislative Authorities to provide the Youth Involvement Council with ongoing tenure of the site
Procurement of statutory approvals
Preparation and distribution of tender documentation including detailed assessment of all submissions
Preparation and execution of contract documents with preferred contractor identified during tender analysis process
Superintendent role for the contract
Coordination and completion of Quality Assurance inspections of onsite construction works to ensure compliance with project scope and specification
