Development Approval granted for Cockatoo Island to Recommence Tourism Operations

We continue to support the owners of the Cockatoo Island, WA townsite and resort as they push forward with re-establishing one of Western Australia's unique and picturesque tourism operations. A real legacy from the Island's historical mining operations.

The Shire of Derby/West Kimberley recently granted planning approval for tourism accommodation on Cockatoo Island which will build on the fantastic tours currently provided by Go Horizontal Falls Tours and the tourism history of the Island first started by Alan Bond in the '80s.
